This week some of our favorite R & B guys have been making some interesting moves:

Starting with the sexual chocolate himself Tyrese. Yesterday he called himself putting his stalker “PAT” or Patricia on blast by posting a pic of her on Twitter. He deleted his tweets since but below is a  pic of the deranged!

How I miss when rap groups was the ish!

I miss this type of vibe in Hip Hop music…plain clothes rappers, no expensive cars, no jewels, raw/amateur video direction and graphics, peeps vibing – having fun and making hot music!

MAIA CAMPBELL:

The beautiful daughter of late Novelist BeBe Moore Campbell has had some troubling times. In 2007 she was posted all over the net showing her goodies in a drug induced stupor and now her likeness has reemerged in youtube videos of her latest studio recorded songs. What I am trying to figure out is the following:

#1: What is she singing about in the posted song – someone done gone crazy with the auto tune! Jay Z is somewhere deflating his lips because of this!

#2: Why or who told Maia she should pursue a singing /rapping career? I understand creative expression is the greatest therapy but somebody please make sure she don’t sound high and ridiculous.

#3: Where in the hell they do that at?

BLACK HISTORY REFLECTION: Elijah McCoy 1843-1929

Home Place: Canada

Birth Date: May 2, 1843 (birth date may not be accurate)

Elijah McCoy a.k.a The Real McCoy was an African Canadian Engineer & Inventor who held many patents for his inventions including lubricating oil for steam engines which allowed trains to move faster. He also invented the folding iron board and sprinkler system.

Fun Facts:

• No one knows his exact birth date
• “The Real McCoy” or The real thing is said to have derived from railroad engineers in reference to Elijah McCoy’s patented lubrication oil.
• In 2001, he was inducted in the National Inventors Hall of Fame in Ohio.

Why is he dope? I always love to see people PROGRESS than DIGRESS and given the cards “GS” was dealt he has played his hand correctly. Regardless to what we face in life it is our responsibility to make the best out of a situation. Tremayne has been in the street life but he did not allow that to bury him.

Currently the CEO of StripKidz Entertainment and Street Literature’s newest Author, Tremayne manipulates his past to secure his future and enlighten people along the way. His first novel “A Drug Dealers Dream” is a gritty tale of choices, wrong decisions and consequences of those who chose the addictive drug game to finance their lifestyles. This book is a great read and will not disappoint!

Tremayne “GS” Johnson is surely someone to look out for – I predict that 2009 will see much success for the homie! or should I say Homme? (that’s french for man – lol)

Jon keeps his fans abreast of all his wear abouts (no bathroom footage thank gawd!)

Erykah Badu announced yesterday on twitter that “our daughter’s name is MARS MERKABA .”

Always know for her eclectic style and unique taste in names for her children this does not surprise me. Best of love and blessings to Badu, Jay (Electronica), Seven, Puma and little baby girl Mars (I bet she’s a cutie pie)!
